Way Freight Handling Sample Clauses

The Way Freight Handling clause defines the procedures and responsibilities for managing freight that is transported in smaller, less-than-carload shipments along a transportation route. Typically, this clause outlines how such shipments are to be loaded, unloaded, and transferred at various stops, and may specify which party is responsible for handling, storage, and any associated costs. By establishing clear guidelines for the handling of way freight, the clause helps prevent disputes over logistics and ensures efficient, organized movement of goods that do not fill an entire freight car.
