Wednesday Before Thanksgiving Holiday. 25.3.1 Elementary teachers may leave following student dismissal in trade for participating in evening conferences during elementary conference week. 25.3.2 Middle school teachers may leave following student dismissal in trade for the additional contact time middle school teachers have throughout the year. 25.3.3 High school teachers may leave following student dismissal in trade for participating in graduation. 25.3.4 Non-classroom based employees may leave following student dismissal if they have a plan with their supervisor to make-up the time during the week prior to Thanksgiving.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
