WHAT TO BRING. Campers are to bring a beach towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, reusable water bottle (1 liter), an inexpensive camera (optional), change of clothes/shoes, and a bathing suit.

WHAT TO BRING. Each home is equipped with linens, towels, cooking and eating utensils. You need only to bring your personal items, a fishing pole if you choose to fish our trout pond, groceries, and condiments.
WHAT TO BRING. Prepare for pleasant, sunny days and cold nights. Daytime temperatures can range from 60–90°F (15-32 °C) while evening temperatures range from 20- 60°F (-7 to 16 °C). Be prepared for a full range of temperatures and conditions with the possibility of occasional rain. Accommodations in India have no air-conditioning or heat so plan accordingly. The Tour Organizer recommends that each participant bring a sleeping bag (rated to 20°F/-7°C or lower), warm clothes for layering, gloves, a hat, a sweater, a warm jacket or coat, wool socks, sturdy, comfortable hiking boots and/or shoes for walking/trekking, a flashlight and/or headlamp, sunscreen, hand and/or body soap, shampoo, biodegradable toilet paper, raincoat/waterproof poncho and/or umbrella, writing paper and pens. Refer to the Himalayan Institute Travel Guide to India and future correspondence for a complete list of what to bring. A day pack for daily essentials and a duffle bag which can accommodate a sleeping bag are suggested. The Tour Organizer limits luggage to one (1) duffel bag per person and one (1) day pack per person. Day pack is to remain with the participant throughout the duration of the Tour whether in transit or otherwise. There is no porterage for day packs for the duration of the Tour. Porterage for one (1) bag during mountain treks requiring overnight camping is limited to a maximum weight of 22 lbs./10 kg. Luggage may be carried within India on tarpaulin-covered roof racks, open trucks, or by sherpas or mules. Weather and loading and unloading can cause more than usual wear and tear to luggage. Accordingly, all luggage should be capable of withstanding rain and rugged treatment
WHAT TO BRING. Prepare for pleasant temperatures during the days and cool nights with the possibility of rain. Temperatures can be in the low 80s during the day and mid 40s at night or anywhere in between. Be prepared for a full range of temperatures and conditions with the possibility of occasional rain as this region is considered a temperate rainforest. The following items are essential: soft-shell duffle bag, sleeping bag, camping pillow, waterproof hiking shoes, active wear t-shits and long sleeve shirts, heavyweight fleece or down jacket, rain gear, hiking socks, warm hat, gloves, lightweight travel towel, water bottles or hydration pack for at least 2 liters of water, sun hat and glasses, sun screen, flashlight or headlamp, personal toiletries and medications. A day pack for daily essentials and a duffle bag which can accommodate a sleeping bag are suggested. WHAT TO BRING. Bring your personal belongings, appropriate footwear, bathing suits, clothing, toiletries, etc. We provide bath towels, linens and basic toiletries. If you plan on swimming, please bring your own beach towel if desired  It is a private home, not a professionally maintained resort, so adjust your expectations accordingly.  Please show a basic care and respect for the property, its plants, its belongings, and its neighbors.  If you use the fire pit or grill – please appoint one key person to learn to use the equipment.  This is a NON-SMOKING home! You may smoke outside; but, use care to stay away from any brush. Please dispose of waste and matches safely.
WHAT TO BRING. While the apartment is ready for your occupancy, you should consider bringing: ○ soap, shampoo, and other personal items, etc. ○ food and drink to meet your needs ○ laundry detergentmeans of transportation to and from the hospital, grocery store etc. ○ Stuffed Animals: While we understand the support that stuffed animals provide your child, they unfortunately may harbor dangerous germs that may compromise your child’s health. Therefore, we ask that you have no more than 5 stuffed animals in your apartment at any time. Any additional stuffed toys must be sealed in a plastic container. Enough clothes for the length of your stay 3. A beach towel ( if your planning to do any swimming or water sports) 4. Toiletries including toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo and conditioner, soap for showering ect 5. Good enclosed walking shoes (needed for some activities) 6. Back pack
WHAT TO BRING. All students must bring their own yoga mat. If you forget to bring your own mat, the studio will offer a rental mat for a non-refundable $5 hire fee. It is recommended that you bring a large non-slip towel and a water bottle for your class. We do provide filtered water at the studio, should you need to refill. We do also recommend that you bring a second (and even third) towel for AFTER class, to wipe away any excess sweat or to possibly shower in the facilities provided. A fresh set of loose-fitting clothes is also handy if you wish to freshen up. STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PRACTICE WITHOUT A YOGA MAT AND SUITABLE TOWEL.
