Common use of Where the contract Clause in Contracts

Where the contract. assigns obligations to Contractor, any reference to “Contractor” is to be construed to be a reference to “Contractor and all Subcontractors, whether they are first-tier subcontractors, sub-subcontractors, suppliers, sub-suppliers, consultants, or sub- consultants, as well as all of Contractor’s and the Subcontractors’ respective agents, representatives, and employees” in every instance unless the context plainly requires that it is be a reference only to Contractor as apart from Subcontractors;
