With Reference to Article 9 Clause Samples

The 'With Reference to Article 9' clause serves to explicitly link the current provision or obligation to the terms and conditions set out in Article 9 of the agreement. In practice, this clause ensures that any rights, duties, or procedures mentioned are interpreted or executed in accordance with the specific rules or requirements detailed in Article 9. For example, if Article 9 covers payment terms, this clause would make certain that related actions elsewhere in the contract adhere to those terms. Its core function is to maintain consistency and avoid ambiguity by clearly tying related provisions to a central, authoritative section of the contract.
