Without invalidating. the Contract, the County may order changes in the Work consisting of additions, deletions, or modifications with the Contract Sum and the Contract Time being adjusted accordingly. All such changes shall be authorized by written Change Order signed by the County or County’s designee. Any work undertaken by the Contractor that is not within the scope of the Work as defined in the Contract Documents without an approved Change Order shall be deemed to be work for the convenience of the Contractor. The cost or credit to the County, if any, from a change in the Work shall be determined by unit prices specified in the contract documents, or by mutual agreement.
