Common use of Work Completion Schedule Clause in Contracts

Work Completion Schedule. A. Inspector will complete preparation of the biweekly work package by close of business Tuesday for the two week period beginning the following Monday. All work in the work package is to be completed by close of business the second Friday following the beginning of the work period. All work in each biweekly work package is to be completed within the two week period designated for that work package. Contractor is responsible for notifying Inspector if weather or other conditions preclude working on some or the entire work package. Such notification will be made within four hours of the event/occurrence. B. Inspector and Contractor are required to discuss the impact of weather or other agreed to delays in an attempt to identify these locations in the biweekly work package that cannot be completed on schedule. Inspector will normally include deleted items in the next biweekly work package. C. Failure to complete the biweekly work package by the described date without Inspector’s approved extension will result in a deduction of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per day late penalty fee for each uncompleted locations.
