Work in a Higher Job Classification. If an employee works in a higher job classification for ten (10) consecutive working days, he/she will be paid ten percent (10%) above his/her regular rate beginning with the eleventh day. The increased payment shall be retroactive to the first day of the assignment if the employee completes the eleventh day.

If a temporary transfer persists for longer than one calendar year, the unit president and superintendent will negotiate a mutual agreement regarding the future status of the employee.
