Common use of WORK NOT IN SCOPE OF SERVICES Clause in Contracts

WORK NOT IN SCOPE OF SERVICES. CONSULTANT shall immediately notify SacSewer’s Project Manager in writing of any work that SacSewer requests to be performed that CONSULTANT believes is outside of the original scope of work covered by this Agreement. If it is determined that said request is outside of the scope of work, such work shall not be performed unless and until the District Engineer approves such request in writing and authorizes the use of any contingency funds for such work, or an amendment providing for an adjustment in CONSULTANT’S compensation is approved and executed by both parties.
