Work on a Public Holiday. 34.1 Public holiday provisions are in accordance with clause 44 (Public Holidays). 34.2 Work on a public holiday must be approved prior to the commencement of such work. 34.3 The first 7.5 hours worked on a public holiday during an employee’s normal ordinary hours of work are paid at ordinary time plus time and a half, with a minimum four hours payment. 34.4 Approved overtime outside an employee’s ordinary hours of work is paid at double time and a half.
