Common use of Work on Fridays Clause in Contracts

Work on Fridays. The Company and the Employees will endeavour to ensure that wherever possible normal productive work shall cease at 3.30pm on Fridays. This does not mean that no productive work can continue past this time where genuine consultation has taken place between the employees and the Company. That is, work can continue past 3.30pm on Fridays if the work is necessary for the production schedule to be maintained or to ensure that the other Employees can be productively employed.
