Work Performed on Rest Days. If an employee is required by the Employer to work on his or her first day of rest, he or she shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times. If an employee is required by the Employer to work on his or her second day of rest, or if he or she is required by the Employer to work overtime on a Sunday, the employee shall be compensated at double time. Any employee who is required by the Employer to work any hours on the above-mentioned days shall receive no less than call-back compensation.

Related to Work Performed on Rest Days

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Cost of Repairs 54.1 Loss or damage to the Works or Materials to be incorporated in the Works between the Start Date and the end of the Defects Correction periods shall be remedied by the Contractor at the Contractor's cost if the loss or damage arises from the Contractor's acts or omissions.

  • Work Performance ▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees that all Services performed hereunder shall be performed on a best effort basis by employees, students, faculty, graduate assistants and staff having an appropriate experience and skill level and in compliance with the statement of work.

  • Performance Delay Time is of the essence in the Vendor’s performance of this Agreement. If at any time it appears to Vendor that it may not meet any of the performance schedules or the scheduled completion date of the services to be performed for any reason, including labor disputes, Vendor shall immediately by verbal means (to be confirmed in writing) notify Customer of the reasons for and the estimated duration of such delay. If requested by Customer, Vendor shall make every effort to avoid or minimize the delay to the maximum extent possible including the expenditure of premium time. Any additional cost caused by these requirements of Customer shall be borne by Vendor, unless the delay in performance arises out of causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of Vendor or its subcontractors within the meaning of the Cancellation- Default clause herein. The foregoing requirements are in addition to any of Customer’s other rights and remedies as may be provided by law or this Agreement.
