Work Product Definition Clause Samples

The Work Product Definition clause establishes what constitutes the deliverables or outputs produced under an agreement. It typically outlines the specific items, documents, software, or other materials that the contractor or service provider is expected to create and deliver to the client. For example, it may specify that all written reports, code, or designs developed during the project are considered work product. This clause ensures both parties have a clear, mutual understanding of what is being delivered, reducing the risk of disputes over the scope or ownership of the final outputs.
