Work-related Injury/Disability Clause Samples
The Work-related Injury/Disability clause defines the rights and responsibilities of both the employer and employee in the event that an employee suffers an injury or disability arising out of or during the course of their employment. Typically, this clause outlines the procedures for reporting such incidents, the types of compensation or benefits available, and any obligations regarding medical treatment or rehabilitation. Its core practical function is to ensure that employees are protected and supported if they are harmed while working, while also clarifying the employer’s obligations, thereby reducing disputes and providing a clear process for handling workplace injuries or disabilities.
