Common use of Written Permission Clause in Contracts

Written Permission. (a) If an employee desires a leave of absence for reasons other than those referred to below, he must obtain permission in writing from the Company. However, no legitimate and reasonable request for a leave of absence will be denied. (b) During an authorized leave of absence, an employee shall maintain and accumulate seniority. (c) In any instance where it is proven that an employee has accepted other employment without the written consent of the Supervisor/Market Manager, when on leave of absence or vacation or while on full time employment with the Company, his employment shall be terminated.
