▇▇▇▇ Membership. Employees of SCA shall be members of the Public Employees' Retirement Association and subject to its requirements. SCA shall be responsible for the cost of District's/employer's respective share of any required contributions. SCA will budget a proportionate share of its total payroll for PERA contributions as required by state law. If this amount changes in subsequent years, the SCA budget will be adjusted to reflect the change. SCA further recognizes that under state law, only public employers assigned to the municipal division may terminate their association with PERA, and that the District and SCA are in the school division.
▇▇▇▇ Membership. All Charter School employees shall be members of the Public Employee’s Retirement Association (“PERA”) and subject to its requirements. The Charter School shall be responsible for all costs associated with employee participation in PERA. The Charter School shall comply with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to participation in PERA. The District shall have no responsibility or obligation for failure of the Charter School to comply with PERA requirements.

All members of the LWDB shall live or be employed within LAV. If it is in the best interest of the LAV, one of the two requirements may be waived in an individual case-by-case basis by the CEOB. Any change in residence, employment or other status which affects the representative status of a LWDB member, shall be forwarded to the CEOB Board Chair within 90 days of said change. Changes in status which LWDB member no longer representative of the sector from which originally appointed shall result in the CEOB declaring said position vacant.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • Committee Membership 1. Local representatives on committees specifically established by this Collective Agreement shall be appointed by the local. 2. In addition, if the employer wishes to establish a committee which includes bargaining unit members, it shall notify the local about the mandate of the committee, and the local shall appoint the representatives. The local will consider the mandate of the committee when appointing the representatives. If the employer wishes to discuss the appointment of a representative, the superintendent, or designate, and the president or designate of the local may meet and discuss the matter. 3. Release time with pay shall be provided by the employer to any employee who is a representative on a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, in order to attend meetings that occur during normal instructional hours. Teacher teaching on call (TTOC) costs shall be borne by the employer. 4. When a TTOC is appointed to a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, and the committee meets during normal instructional hours, the TTOC shall be paid pursuant to the provisions in each district respecting TTOC Pay and Benefits. A TTOC attending a “half day” meeting shall receive a half day’s pay. If the meeting extends past a “half day,” the TTOC shall receive a full day’s pay.

  • Transfer of Membership Interests (a) The Member may transfer its Membership Interest, in whole but not in part, but the transferee shall not be admitted as a Member except in accordance with Section 6.07. Until the transferee is admitted as a Member, the Member shall continue to be the sole member of the Company (subject to Section 1.02) and to be entitled to exercise any rights or powers of a Member of the Company with respect to the Membership Interest transferred. (b) To the fullest extent permitted by law, any purported transfer of any Membership Interest in violation of the provisions of this LLC Agreement shall be wholly void and shall not effectuate the transfer contemplated thereby. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Member may not transfer any Membership Interest in violation of any provision of this LLC Agreement or in violation of any applicable federal or state securities laws.

  • Transfer of Membership Interest The Sole Member may Transfer any part or all of its rights and interest (including, but not limited to, its Capital Account) in the Company (each a “Membership Interest”) now owned or hereafter acquired to any Person, and the transferee of such Membership Interest shall become a Member of the Company.

  • Termination of Membership You may terminate your membership by giving us written notice or by withdrawing your minimum required membership share(s), if any, and closing all your accounts. You may be denied services for causing a loss to the Credit Union, or you may be expelled for any reason as allowed by applicable law.
