▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Leave. Employees who have an appointment between 50% and 100% shall be entitled to the bereavement leave benefit described in this Section. The number of hours of pay for a day of paid bereavement leave is dependent upon the employee’s appointment at or above 50%; the benefit is 8.0 hours paid bereavement leave per day for an employee with an appointment of 100%, with the hours prorated for eligible employees between 50% and 100%.
