This Housing Contract (Contract) sets forth the contractual obligations of the resident and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill or University). All information contained within the website for the Department of Housing and Residential Education (Department) (http://housing.unc.edu/), including but not limited to the Community Living Standards (https://housing.unc.edu/policies/housing-contract/), is a legally-binding adjunct which is herein specifically incorporated into this Contract. It is the resident’s responsibility to become familiar with all provisions of this Contract. Provisions may be added or changed during the term of this Contract as determined by the University with notification to residents. No term or condition of this Contract can be waived without the formal written agreement of both parties, and no oral statement made by the Department or its agents or employees is considered a waiver of any term or condition of the Contract.
