WHEREAS the Service Employees Union (Part-Time Office and Clerical) Local 1 Canada certified on the 28th day of April, 2000 by the Ontario Labour Relations Board as the collective bargaining agent for all office and clerical employees of Cambridge Memorial Hospital in the City of Cambridge, Ontario, save and except Administrative Assistant to the C.E.O., Program Administrative Assistants, Clerk Typists in Human Resources, Clerk Receptionists in Human Resources, Buyer, Diet Technicians, Clerk Receptionists in Administration, supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, persons regularly employed for more than twenty-four (24) hours per week, students employed during vacation periods, persons excluded pursuant to section 1(3)(b) of the Act and employees for whom any trade union held bargaining rights as at April 28, 2000.

The Hospital recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all of its employees at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, save and except professional medical staff, graduate nursing staff, undergraduate nurses, graduate pharmacists, undergraduate pharmacists, graduate dietitians, student dietitians, chef, technical personnel, supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, human resources staff, secretaries to the Executive Director, Associate Executive Director, Assistant Executive Directors, Chief of Medical Staff; and persons covered by subsisting collective agreements.
