This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) constitutes an agreement between United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the PALM BEACH POLICE DEPTARTMENT (PBPD) , pursuant to which ICE delegates to nominated, trained, and certified officers or employees of the PBPD (hereinafter interchangeably referred to as “Law Enforcement Agency” (LEA)), the authority to perform certain immigration enforcement functions as specified herein.
