This Agreement is entered into by the City of Mount Vernon, hereinafter referred to as the “City,” and the IAFF/Ohio Association of Professional Firefighters and the Mt. Vernon Firefighters and Paramedics Local 3712, hereinafter referred to as the “Union” or the “Exclusive Bargaining Agent.” Its purpose is to promote harmonious relations between the City and the Union, to establish wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
