The Company and the Union desire to co-operate and work harmoniously together in promoting their mutual interest in the operating of the plant. It is their desire to provide orderly procedure for collective bargaining, orderly procedure for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances and for the maintenance of mutually satisfactory hours of work, wages and working conditions in the plant.
