The Internet enables the Jefferson Public Library to provide resources beyond the confines of its own collection. It is not possible for the Library to review or verify that all the information is accurate, or that some content is not offensive. Therefore, patrons must exercise their responsibility as discriminating consumers by questioning the validity and appropriateness of the information they find. By accessing the Internet through the Library, patrons agree that the Library will not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages or losses which may arise in connection with such use.
