The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners allocated a total of $1.2M in funding for project development, design and permitting of a future Ponte Vedra Beach Restoration Project on July 17, 2018, and on December 18, 2018. The County requested assistance from the State Legislature to offset these costs and $500,000 has been made available by Special Appropriation in the State's FY2019-2020 budget. In order to qualify for these funds, the County and FDEP must enter into a Grant Agreement. This request is to adopt the agreement with FDEP to allow the County to seek reimbursement of the aforementioned expenses.
