Position Title: Enrolled NurseThis position description is a supporting document to anemployee’s “Letter of Appointment” and “Variation to Letter of Appointment” Department: Acute Ward Classification/Award: Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024Classification: Enrolled Nurse level 2.1 up 2.7 Date issued May 2023 Performance Review: A six month probation will apply to this position (6 months from date of commencement).Performance reviews will then be held annually. ROLE Within an interdisciplinary team, the Enrolled Nurse role is to provide evidence based patient centred care within their scope of practice. This care is to be delivered as allocated or requested by the nurse in charge within the acute ward, and the urgent care centre The Enrolled Nurse is not required to function as a sole practitioner in a complex and/or unstable clinical situation, however will assist the Registered Nurse with patient care
