To establish the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that is consistent with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations life/safety program requirements for mutual assistance, and to formalize the mutual assistance agreement among hospitals in Wayne County (see Addendum B for list of participating facilities) and other health care organizations in the event of an emergency that requires partial or total hospital evacuation.
