This Agreement is entered into pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Bank and the Secretariat of the GEF on May 19, 2004, for direct access to the resources of the GEF through transfers to the IDB/GEF Fund and pursuant to the Financial Procedures Agreement signed between the Bank and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), as trustee of the GEF Trust Fund.
