This Memorandum of Understanding (this “Agreement” ) by and between the Maryland Department of the Environment (hereinafter, the “Department”) and County Commissioners of Caroline County, Maryland, a body politic and corporate and a political subdivision of the State of Maryland (hereinafter “Grantee”) is entered into for the purpose of making funds available to Grantee to implement, construct and/or equip the Project, as more particularly described in Attachment A to this Agreement.
