PRELIMINARY DESIGN-BUILD AGREEMENT
Preliminary Design-Build Agreement • July 8th, 2021

This AGREEMENT, entered this day of , 2021, between the Village of Matteson (hereinafter “Owner”) and Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. Inc., (hereinafter “Design- Builder”) for development of a Phase 1 Water Feasibility Study in accordance with Exhibit A, Scope of Services for the Feasibility Study in the Village of Matteson, IL (Project). The Parties anticipate that the Project will be executed in three Phases: Phase I consists of the development of a Feasibility Study as described herein. Phase 2 consists of preliminary design, initial permitting coordination, funding coordination and development of a price proposal for the detailed design and construction of the Project. Phase 3 consists of detailed design and construction of the improvements identified in Phases I and 2. The parties further anticipate that a Phase 2 scope and cost may be negotiated at the conclusion of Phase 1 and that a separate Phase 3 Agreement may be executed after the delivery of the Phase 2 Design-Build Prop
