This Charter Agreement is entered into between the Metropolitan Board of Public Education for Nashville and Davidson County By and Through the Metropolitan Board of Public Education (the Chartering Authority) and KIPP Academy Nashville, 123 Douglas Avenue, Nashville TN 37207 (the Sponsor or Charter School, those terms being used interchangeably herein; provided that references herein to “Charter School” shall not include other schools operated by the Sponsor). Chartering Authority and Sponsor are collectively the Parties to this Charter Agreement. This Charter Agreement shall be binding upon the Governing Body selected by the Sponsor to operate the public charter school proposed in the Sponsor’s Application, dated April 1, 2015, which Governing Body is the Board of Directors of KIPP Academy Nashville.
