On February 9, 2022, BLM’s National Programmatic Agreement (nPA) with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (Council) and the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (NCSHPO) will expire. Part XV.A of the State Protocol Agreement between the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada and the Nevada State Historic Preservation Officer for Implementing the National Historic Preservation Act, revised 2014 (Protocol), states “this Protocol will remain in effect for 10 years from the date of execution of the 2012 revised nPA.” Therefore, this Protocol will also expire on February 9, 2022.
