The Medford Spruce Salvage Sale is located within Taylor County, WI, T33N, R1W: T32N, R1E: T33N, R1E: T32, R2W: T32N, R2W: and T31N, R1W. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, 1170 4th Ave. S., Park Falls, WI 54552 at 11:00 AM local time on 05/27/2014 for an estimated volume of 34 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 23 CCF of Red Pine sawtimber, 2269 CCF of Spruce sawtimber, 450 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 195 CCF of Mixed Conifer pulpwood, 140 CCF of Mixed Hardwood pulpwood, 24 CCF of Red Pine pulpwood, and 901 CCF of Spruce pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Mixed Conifer grn bio cv, and Mixed Hardwood grn bio cv that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate.
