This explanatory note provides a summary of the proposed Planning Agreement prepared between Bellingen Shire Council and Urunga Developments Pty Ltd under section 7.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (the Act). Its purpose is to help the broader community to understand simply and clearly what the planning agreement is proposing, how it delivers public benefit, and why it is acceptable and in the public interest.
