On 18 December 2013, the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim and the Dutch State Secretary for Finance signed an intergovernmental agreement (the Netherlands-US IGA) under the provisions commonly known as the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).
