This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is made between the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology (SVPUAT), Modipuram, Meerut, U.P., India, hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act and the ICAR– Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research (IIFSR), Modipuram, Meerut, U.P., India (hereafter called “ICAR-IIFSR”) of the other part. The SVPUAT, a Government of Uttar Pradesh supported agricultural University is primarily engaged in education and research on different aspects of agriculture. Besides training human resources, it develops new varieties and improved production, health management and product technologies for the agricultural crops including horticultural crops grown in the region and for the animals. The faculty of various disciplines of SVPUAT is responsible for imparting teaching and research in different courses to Undergraduate, Post-graduate courses degree programmes in Agricultural Science.
