Medium General customers requesting interconnection will be designated to the Medium General Service Bidirectional Net Metering [15-Minute] - Rate 33 for the utility. Farmington Electric Utility System (FEUS) will authorize the interconnection of any photovoltaic (PV) or other qualifying renewable resource, generating system and shall not exceed 125% of the customer’s historical load that complies with Rule 21. Approval of the interconnect is contingent on engineering analysis and the existing infrastructure. Customer’s applying for the interconnection will have their usage/generation with energy received, energy delivered and net energy based on 15-minute intervals. Excess generation will be purchased at the current avoided cost rate. These are defined in Rate 33 for reference. If a thermal generation interconnect is requested, Rate 33 will not apply, and the customer’s interconnect would be evaluated on its own basis.
