The Rank I program is pre-planned with the student and the advisor to meet the needs of the individual in relation to the Kentucky Teacher Standards or other appropriate standards. Course work may be selected from the grid of designated courses or from the academic specialization of the teaching area. Teacher candidate’s professional development plan will be re-visited in order to guide program development. A Rank I is earned with 30 credit hours beyond Rank II or 60 credit hours beyond Rank III.
