In addition to the existing K-8 Home School and 9-12 Independent Study (blended, supervisory, and hybrid) programs, DJUSD has implemented a Virtual Academy through the Davis School for Independent Study (DSIS) to meet the growing needs of our community to serve students in a primarily virtual environment. DTA and DJUSD agree that this program is an important component of the District’s programming following the pandemic. The parties understand that as the program develops and evolves additional negotiations may be required.
