For the 2024 Legislative Session, the County submitted a local project request to fund improvements to the Lincolnville Museum. The appropriations request was approved in the amount of $250,000 in the 2024 budget, House Bill 5001. The funds are to be used to improve drainage, add new surfacing to parking lots, install outdoor lighting and add security cameras and monitors at the Lincolnville Museum. In order to receive the funds, the Florida Department of State requires the County enter into a Grant Agreement setting forth the terms and conditions of the funding. This item requests board approval to execute the grant agreement with the Department of State and to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Friends of Lincolnville, Inc., setting forth each of their obligations for the project.
