Date Parties Background MUSWELLBROOK SHIRE COUNCIL ABN 86 864 180 944 of Campbell’sCorner, 60-82 Bridge Street, Muswellbrook, NSW 2333 (Council)AND AGL MACQUARIE PTY LTD ACN 167 859 494 of Level 24, 200 GeorgeStreet, Sydney, NSW 2000 (AGL) A. AGL owns the Land upon which the Liddell Power Station is located. B. AGL has made application for and has been issued with a Planning Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARS) by NSW Department of Planning and Environment for a proposed State Significant Development Application being Application Number SSD-24937520 (SSDA). The proposed SSDA will seek approval for some of the physical aspects of the Liddell Closure including demolition of the Liddell Power Station site. C. The parties are concerned about the socio-economic impacts of the prospective Liddell Closure on the community. D. Council and AGL are parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on Provision for Socio-Economic Impacts of Closure of Liddell Power Station
