AGL owns the Land upon which the Liddell Power Station is located. B. AGL has made application for and has been issued with a Planning Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARS) by NSW Department of Planning and Environment for a proposed State Significant Development Application being Application Number SSD-24937520 (SSDA). The proposed SSDA will seek approval for some of the physical aspects of the Liddell Closure including demolition of the Liddell Power Station site. C. The parties are concerned about the socio-economic impacts of the prospective Liddell Closure on the community. D. Council and AGL are parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on Provision for Socio-Economic Impacts of Closure of Liddell Power Station
