(NEC) (hereinafter "Petitioners"), hereby submits the following comments. This comment document is timely submitted in response to the public notice dated June 1, 2003 in the Las Vegas Review Journal regarding the proposed issuance of a Title V (40 CFR Part 70) Operating Permit to Chemical Lime Company (CLC) for its Henderson Nevada stationary source by the Department of Air Quality Management (DAQM).1 These comments are intended to provide the basis for an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) timely objection to the issuance of the proposed permit pursuant to the requirements of 40 C.F.R. 70.4(3)(ix). In the alternative, Petitioners request that the Administrator terminate, modify or revoke the operating permit(s) for Chemical Lime Company pursuant to the requirements of 40 C.F.R. § 70.4(3)(vi).
