This POLICE CHIEF EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the “AGREEMENT”) is entered into and made effective , by and between the CITY OF BANNING, a general law city and municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “CITY”) and MATTHEW HAMNER, an individual (hereinafter referred to as “EMPLOYEE”), who is qualified to serve as Police Chief in the State of California. For purposes of this AGREEMENT, CITY and EMPLOYEE may be collectively referred to as the “Parties” or individually as a “Party.”
