The Workforce Development Agreement (WDA) is an agreement between the province and the federal government for employment funding. The WDA agreement has mandatory categories which include identifying, and personal, data. This information is being collected for all people, including those with diverse abilities using employment services, across Canada. CLBC is required to report the mandatory data categories to the federal and provincial governments in order to receive funding for employment services. CLBC’s reporting under the WDA came into effect on April 1, 2020.
