PREAMBLE - We, the undersigned, duly appointed representatives of the City of Emeryville and the Management of Emeryville Services Authority (Employer) a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "City", and Service Employees International Union, Local 1021, a recognized employee organization, hereinafter referred to as "Union", having met and negotiated in good faith, under the authority of the Meyers-Milias Brown Act, do hereby jointly prepare the following written Memorandum of Understanding.
