Additional Core IP definition

Additional Core IP means Third Party intellectual property that is necessary to [***]. For clarity, Additional Core IP does not include any Patent Rights claiming (or intellectual property related to) [***].
Additional Core IP has the meaning set forth in Section 9.3.3(a).
Additional Core IP means Third Party intellectual property that would have constituted Akcea Core Technology IP if Controlled by Akcea on the Execution Date or at any time during the Term. For clarity, Additional Core IP does not include any Patent Rights claiming (or intellectual property related to) formulation or delivery technology, delivery devices, other active ingredients or Conjugate Technology (other than the THA Cluster).

Examples of Additional Core IP in a sentence

  • If ▇▇▇▇ obtains such a Third Party license, ▇▇▇▇ will include such Additional Core IP in the license granted to AstraZeneca under Section 4.1.1, and [***] will pay any financial obligations under such Third Party agreement as [***].

  • If ▇▇▇▇ obtains such a Third Party license, ▇▇▇▇ will include such Additional Core IP in the license granted to AstraZeneca under Section 6.1.1, Section 6.1.2 or Section 6.1.3 (as the case may be), and any financial obligations under such Third Party agreement will be paid solely by [***] as [***].

  • For clarity, Additional Core IP does not include any Patent Rights claiming (or intellectual property related to) [***] or New Third Party Compound Technology.
