Appurtenant structures definition

Appurtenant structures means structures such as spillways, either in the dam or separate therefrom; the reservoir and its rim; low-level outlet works; and water conduits such as tunnels, pipelines, or penstocks, occurring through either the dam or its abutments.
Appurtenant structures means garages, sheds, and other legally established accessory structures. For purposes of this Title, appurtenant structures do not include bulkheads and other shoreline modifications or over-water structures.
