Authentication Information definition

Authentication Information means passwords, user names and any other information necessary to access Licensed Material by means of the Secure Authentication.
Authentication Information means information that a subject presents to an information system in order to become authenticated. A password is typical authentication information.

  • The Institution shall use reasonable efforts to monitor compliance with the terms of this Licence and shall promptly notify the Publisher, providing full particulars (to the extent that it is not prohibited by law or contractual obligation from doing so), on becoming aware of any of the following: any unauthorised access to or use of the Licensed Material or unauthorised use of Authentication Information; or any act by an Authorised User which gives rise to a breach of this Licence.

  • Cardholders must select Personal Authentication Information which cannot be easily guessed.

  • A combination selected from their name, date of birth, telephone numbers, address or social insurance numbers must not be used for Personal Authentication Information.

  • No one but the Cardholder is permitted to know or use their Personal Authentication Information, nor any other Security Devices which may be used or required for Internet transactions or other transaction types.

  • Authentication Information means passwords, user names and any other information necessary to access Licensed Material by means of the Secure Authentication.

  • Once any of the above events has been reported to us, we will be able to prevent the use of the Card, Card Information and Personal Authentication Information, and you will not be liable for any unauthorized use following the receipt of such report.

  • Once any of the above events have been reported to Royal Bank, Royal Bank will be able to prevent the use of the Physical Card, Physical Card Information and Personal Authentication Information, and the Customer will not be liable for any unauthorized use following the receipt of such report.

  • No Point of Contact or designee shall be permitted to disclose or transfer Authentication Information to another individual.
