Authorized Functions definition

Authorized Functions means the functions listed on the Authorized Function List, which must be carried out by a Qualified Person;
Authorized Functions means those functions on the Authorized Functions List and carried out by a
Authorized Functions. Participating BCSO personnel are only delegated the two authorities listed below: • The power and authority to serve and execute warrants of arrest for immigration violations, 8 U.S.C. § 1357(a) and 8 C.F.R. § 287.5(e)(3), on designated aliens in BCSO's jail/correctional facilities at the time of the alien's scheduled release from criminal custody in order to transfer custody of the alien to ICE; and • The power and authority to serve warrants ofremoval, 8 U.S.C. § 1357(a) and 8 C.F.R. §§ 241.2(b)(2), 287.5(e)(3), on designated aliens in BCSO's jail/correctional facilities at the time of the alien's scheduled release from criminal custody that executes the custodial transfer of the alien to ICE for removal purposes. Upon transfer of the alien's custody to ICE, the alien will continue to be held in the BCSO's jail/correctional facilities for no more than 48 hours unless there exists an agreement pursuant to which the BCSO will continue to detain, for a reimbursable fee, aliens for immigration purposes. In the absence of an agreement, if the alien is not transferred to an ICE field office or an immigration detention facility within 48 hours, the alien shall be released from the BCSO's jail/correctional facility.

Examples of Authorized Functions in a sentence

  • The Non-Exchange Entity shall develop training and awareness programs for members of its Workforce that create, collect, disclose, access, maintain, store, and use PII while carrying out any Authorized Functions.

  • The CDO and CAC may create, collect, disclose, access, maintain, store, and use PII from Consumers only for CDO/CAC Authorized Functions identified in Section III.2 of the CMS-CDO Agreement and Section III.b of the agreement between CDO and CAC that is in effect as of the time the information is collected, unless the CDO and/or CAC obtains informed consent as described in Section 2(b) of this Appendix A.

  • Staff Member/Volunteer agrees to allow the Consumer to limit Staff Member/Volunteer’s creation, collection, use, maintenance, storage, and disclosure of their PII to the sole purpose of obtaining Staff Member/Volunteer’s assistance for FFE purposes, and for performing Authorized Functions specified in Section III.b of this Agreement.

  • Except for collections, uses or disclosures that are specifically authorized by Consumers in accordance with Section 2(b) of Appendix A, PII collected from Consumers may be used only for the Authorized Functions specified in Section III.b of this Agreement.

  • Before Staff Member/Volunteer creates, collects, discloses, accesses, maintains, stores, or uses any of a Consumer’s PII, Staff Member/Volunteer will obtain from the Consumer the authorization required by 45 CFR 155.225(f) for Staff Member/Volunteer to create, collect, disclose, access, maintain, store, and use the Consumer’s PII to carry out the Authorized Functions listed at Section III.b of this Agreement, and will permit the authorization to be revoked at any time.

  • Access rights must apply to any PII that is created, collected, disclosed, accessed, maintained, stored, and used by the Non- Exchange Entity to perform any of the Authorized Functions outlined in their respective agreements with CMS.

  • Except for those disclosures that are necessary to carry out CDO/CAC Authorized Functions, CDOs and CACs that maintain and/or store PII shall maintain an accounting of any and all disclosures of PII.

  • Except for collections, uses or disclosures that are specifically authorized by Consumers in accordance with Section 2(b) of Appendix A, PII collected from Consumers may be used only for the Authorized Functions specified in Section III.2 of this Agreement.

  • CDO agrees to allow the Consumer to limit the CDO’s creation, collection, use, maintenance, storage, and disclosure of their PII to the sole purpose of obtaining CDO’s assistance for FFE purposes, and for performing Authorized Functions specified in Section III.2 of this Agreement.

  • All reinforcement bars shall, immediately prior to placing, be free from loose mill scale, loose rust, oil, grease, dirt or other foreign matter.

Related to Authorized Functions

  • Governmental function means an activity that is expressly or impliedly mandated or authorized by constitution, statute, local charter or ordinance, or other law. Governmental function includes an activity performed on public or private property by a sworn law enforcement officer within the scope of the law enforcement officer's authority, as directed or assigned by his or her public employer for the purpose of public safety.

  • critical functions means activities, services or operations the discontinuance of which is likely in one or more Member States, to lead to the disruption of services that are essential to the real economy or to disrupt financial stability due to the size, market share, external and internal interconnectedness, complexity or cross-border activities of an institution or group, with particular regard to the substitutability of those activities, services or operations;

  • School function means any school-sponsored extra-curricular event or activity.

  • Essential job functions means the fundamental job duties of the employment position an individual holds. A job function may be considered essential if-

  • Essential functions means the fundamental job duties of the employment position the individual with a disability holds or desires. “Essential functions” does not include the marginal functions of the position.
