AWS Network definition

AWS Network means AWS’s data center facilities, servers, networking equipment, and host software systems (e.g., virtual firewalls) that are within AWS’s control and are used to provide the Services.

Examples of AWS Network in a sentence

  • The AWS Network will be electronically accessible to employees, contractors and any other person as necessary to provide the Services.

  • Physical components of the AWS Network are housed in nondescript facilities (the “Facilities”).

  • AWS will conduct periodic reviews of the security of its AWS Network and adequacy of its information security program as measured against industry security standards and its policies and procedures.

  • AWS will maintain access controls and policies to manage what access is allowed to the AWS Network from each network connection and user, including the use of firewalls or functionally equivalent technology and authentication controls.

  • Customer can specify the location(s) where Customer Data will be processed within the AWS Network (each a “Region”), including Regions in the EEA.

  • AWS will perform regular external vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of the AWS Network, and will investigate identified issues and track them to resolution in a timely manner.

  • AWS will maintain an information security program designed to (a) enable Customer to secure Customer Data against accidental or unlawful loss, access, or disclosure, (b) identify reasonably foreseeable risks to the security and availability of the AWS Network, and (c) minimize physical and logical security risks to the AWS Network, including through regular risk assessment and testing.

Related to AWS Network

  • Mobile Network means the network facilities and/or network services comprising the public cellular network for the provision of Call Communications.

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide a Service.

  • Open Wireless Network means any network or segment of a network that is not designated by the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Information Technology or delegate as a protected network (designed, tested, and approved, by means of the State, to transmit) will be considered an open network and not adequately secure for the transmission of unencrypted PI, PFI, PHI or confidential DHHS data.
