Base Interruptible Program or “BIP” means the rate schedule applicable to customers with demands of 200 kW or more who receive a credit applied to their summer and winter season
Base Interruptible Program or “BIP” means the rate schedule applicable to customers with demands of 200 kW or more who receive a credit applied to their summer and winter season Time Related Demand (TRD) Charges in return for the customer’s agreement to reduce its demand to a specified level within either 15 or 30 minutes of notification by SCE of the need to reduce load.

  • Participation in BIP via a Marketer, including the designation and termination of such Marketer and its services, shall be subject to the terms and conditions of Rule 29, Third-Party Marketers for Base Interruptible Program.

  • The parties shall comply with the terms and conditions of Schedule BIP, and all local, state and federal rules, regulations and laws, including, if Customer designates a Third-Party Marketer pursuant to Section V above, Rule 29, Third-Party Marketers for Base Interruptible Program.

  • The Base Interruptible Program (BIP) offers an incentive to the end-user to reduce the load demand to or below a pre-selected level (firm service level – FIL).

  • SCE also offers ADRP, Permanent Load Shifting, TOU Base Interruptible Program, Capacity Bidding Program, DBP, Aggregator Managed Portfolio Program, CPP, OBMP, RTP, SLRP, Pumping and Agricultural RTP, as well as a Summer Discount Plan 16.

  • Applicant may participate in a capacity interruptible program such as the Base Interruptible Program offered under Schedule E-BIP, provided the program requires the reduction of load to a pre-established firm service level and Applicant is the only customer on the circuit.

  • The Base Interruptible Program (“BIP”) offers a monthly capacity payment to non-residential customers who can commit to curtail at least fifteen percent (15%) of their Monthly Average Peak Demand during energy curtailment events as called by the California Independent Systems Operator (“CAISO”) or SDG&E.

  • The Long Beach City Hall and the Convention Center are currently participants in Demand Response programs offered by SCE, including the Summer Discount Plan and Time-of-Use Base Interruptible Program.

Related to Base Interruptible Program

  • Planned Service Interruption means a Service Interruption that has been scheduled to occur in accordance with Schedule 5;

  • Unplanned Service Interruption means any Service Interruption where events or circumstances prevent the timely communication of prior warning or notice to the Trader or any affected Customer;

  • Service Interruption means the cessation of electricity supply to an ICP for a period of 1 minute or longer, other than by reason of De-energisation of that ICP:

  • Interruption Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5 hereof.

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.
